The new flagship yacht of the Princess Fleet is the Princess 95. This boat has unusually large fly-bridge made from composite materials. Grand Soleil 50. In the world of luxury cruising yachts, the name Grand Soleil and Soleil Yachts which are based in Italian shipyard Cantiere del Pardo, are one of the synonyms for speed, high performance and extremely high quality. For this project, Doug Peterson is being engaged, the man with unique experience in America’s Cup, and as a result, the most advanced technology and materials are used for hull constructing.

Italian Shipbuilder Fincantieri has already built more than 7000 ships of all types, and every MegaYacht wasn’t just luxury traveling ship but an expression of success, refinement and style in the same time. People in this shipyard are mainly focused to construction of huge ships bigger than 70 meters and this project that is called Project Light, and according to the name it belongs to the light category. This MegaYacht originates from the cooperation between the famous design studio Nauta Design and Fincantieri Yachts.

The Ship is 262 feet long and 46 feet wide and can accommodate twelve to fourteen guests and up to ten crew members on all five decks. There are seven ultra luxury cabins at the disposal to the owner and the guests, with a total of 770 m2 of usable space, windows area of 200 m2, and a teak-wood floor is planted on the area of 640 m2.

The engines in charge of moving this monstrous ship are more than powerful and are capable of producing 2.645 Hp each, and the cruising speed (at 85% throttle) is 17 mph., while the maximum speed is 18 mph. Solar Sailor’s Soliloquy SuperYacht. The current trend is green. We are witnessing more and more eco-friendly cars, devices, gadgets, and the latest trend is influencing the yachting industry as well.

The guys (and girls) behind Solar Sailors holding have done a great job offering a concept of big and luxury yacht that will actually care about the environment by using solar and wind power as a driving force using latest state-of-the-art  hybrid marine technology. As a last resort there are powerful diesel engines.  Soliloquy SuperYacht is not what you would expect from your typical super expensive ultra luxurious 58 meters (190-foot) SuperYacht. It is very much more and then some.

Soliloquy is a result of an extensive collaboration and joined forces of Alastair Callender of Callender Designs and his dedicated team.  Soliloquy’s rigid-wing structure and smooth curvaceous powerful exterior lines will bring the smile and surprise to anyone familiar with the current yacht designs.  This yacht looks like it came from some future story.

Pioneering steps and high quality cutting-edge hybrid solutions offer numerous advantages over the traditional diesel or gasoline engines, some of them being low fuel consumption (at night or when full power is needed to reach the maximum speed) or no emissions at all when the system is powered only by renewable solar and wind energy (when cruising quietly at moderate speeds).  In fact the surplus of the energy is stored in the huge and efficient batteries and is ready to be used once needed. Three rigid-wings are retractable “solar sails” and can be independently rotated from each other or folded away like a Swiss knife when not in use. Photovoltaic cells with and area of 219 square-meter, or 2,360 square foot are capable of propelling the ship with the speed of up to 8 knots. Using wind power alone it can reach speed of 10 knots, while the hybrid electric-diesel motor can speed up the Soliloquy – Green Dream to 18 knots.

Some other features are also worth mentioning. This future SuperYacht uses cold-molded hull built from sustainably managed forests, on-board gym with treadmills and some other fitness equipment that also charges the main batteries. “Yacht design and helping the planet are things I’m very passionate about,” Mr. Callender said.

We will focus on ISA 600 yachts in particular in this reading, together with rich photo coverage of the interior. This series is available in two different versions of exterior styling, created with close collaboration with two renowned masters of the Italian design, Walter Franchini and Andrea Vallicelli. Both versions are completely equal in size, technology and luxury level, they have a completely different souls. The deck’s styling and the shape of the stern has some dissimilarities and brings to light some different ideas. The photos of the interior of ISA 600 in this text are from the Walter Franchini version of ISA 600 yacht.

The Main Technical Data:
The new yacht ISA is based on the concept project and naval architecture by the ISATechnical Department team. She is compliant with the LRoS (Lloyd’s Register of Shipping), Maltese Cross 100A1 SSC YACHT (P) MONO G6, LMC and UMS classification regulations, as well as with the MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency), Code of Practice, LY2 Unrestricted regulations.
The new ISA 600 is built exclusively from metal, with steel used in the hull with a lots of other metals used to reinforce the structure and aluminium alloy for the superstructure above. The yachts is equipped with bulb at the bow, and the stern skeg and an additional stabilization system with two pairs of fins placed at the front of the ship and at the back.

As we mentioned before ISA 600 is 60.5 meters long, with a length at waterline of almost 54 meters, and a distance between perpendiculars is more than 52 meters. The yacht’s maximum beam is 12 meters and she has a maximum draught of more than 3 meters when fully loaded. The unit’s displacement is 980 tons with a medium load, and 1042 when it is filled to the maximum.

The ISA 600’s engine room will be fitted with twin Caterpillar twelve-cylinder V/type diesel engines, CAT 3512C-HD DiTA rating C series, each with 1765 kw of output, equivalent to 2365 horsepower, delivered at engine speed of 1800 rpm. This set-up with allow the new ISA 600 to reach a top speed of 16.5 knots, with a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.

When traveling at a cruising speed of 14 knots, the yacht will be able to achieve a range of 2700 nautical miles, partly thanks to her capacious fuel tanks, which can hold 124 thousand liters of fuel. Freshwater on board ISA 600 will be supplied by specific tanks, containing up to 25 thousand liters of liquid.
Meanwhile, the onboard energy requirements will be met by the three main generator sets, based on six-cylinder inline Caterpillar diesel generators from the CAT C9 DiTA series, each providing 200 kilowatts. A dedicated emergency generator set is on hand if needed.

The ISA 600’s equipment also includes one rescue and service tender, and two waverunners. These are stored outside on the fore deck, while the two main tenders and a further two waverunners are stored inside in twin garages on the lower deck, both of which have side hatches.

The exterior styling and the interior design

Exotic and elegant, calm and assuring, avant-garde interior is just an addition of the bold, powerful exterior styling created by Walter Franchini’s Italian studio and gives a strong impression at first sight. In our opinion, ISA 600 is glowing with prestige and luxury, has a very majestic elegance and robust look. Sporty Jet-Set image is not sacrificed but it is incorporated in its genes, and it looks and glides on the waves as well as it please our eyes. Famous and remarkable Italian shipyard ISA, International Shipyard Ancona, has stood to its maxim of constant technology advancement and permanent design improvement as a basis for construction and equipping some of the most luxurious yachts and Superyachts in the world.

ISA project begun in 1998 as an initiative between several managers from Ancona with an expertise in building large ships. They agreed with the common goal to build ultimate pleasure and luxury yachts. They have managed to build their first yacht, 47.5 meters In length, with steel hull and aluminium upped body (superstructure).
State of the art production facility alone is huge, with over 45 thousand m2, of which about a third are roofed. This is particularly important as ISA is able to see complete projects in-house from the start to the finish line, when building new ships or refitting old ones. And the huge work area of the shipyard and warehouses means that that ISA is open for working on big projects, on ships ranging from 36 to 90 meters in length. In 2006 ISA was taken over by Yachting Investors Group and got its much needed funding and became ready for much larger and more expensive projects. Experience of the skilled workers, talented and highly professional interior and exterior designers and premium level of managers now form an unbeatable team in the yachting business.

The specialized and skilled workers behind the ISA are using technologies of tomorrow to bring you the ultimate joy and luxury in today’s world. High-precision machinery, talented designers and motivating working atmosphere will result in fantastic big ships, sleek and modern, powerful and contemporary. You have two choices; you can order some of their yachts in composite, steel or aluminium.
Composite range comprises the well-know ISA 120 series, which is very important for ISA as one of the best selling models, and a newly developed ISA 140 series, something new and unique, extraordinary soon to appear range that ISA has an extremely high hopes for.

Speaking about the metal yachts with steel heel and aluminium structure is much more extensive. It comprises several models that can be further enhanced to meet the customer desires and requirements. Among them are famous and successful ISA 470 and ISA 480 series, which are continuing to show great interest among the rich and informed people. Going up in size and ISA 500 is appearing, but it is yet under construction. It is very large in size, having 50 meters in length, ordered last year by some lucky people. We will witness its delivery in the first quarter of 2010. Even larger is ISA 560, cutting-edge 56-meter ship, meeting all you have dreamed of. Next step is ISA 600, which is currently being built and is scheduled to be ready in summer 2010, and ISA 601 yacht with the same size and can be seen on the website of the manufacturer. For the next several years, even larger yachts are being planned and the production process is being adjusted to meet all the requirements. ISA 630 will appear next, whose contract was signed during the Monaco Yacht Show 2007 and is targeted for 2011, the ISA 660, 66 meters in length, also available on the ISA’s website. And in the near future, we will also witness the ISA 740 being born. This huge, encyclopedic vessel, 74 meters in length was announced first in 2008, during the Monaco Yachts Show 2008 and is expected to be ready in 2012. There are some plans for even bigger yachts, but it is all speculation now, and you will hear first when we have some real news on ISA yachts.

73 WallyPower is one of the latest technology wonders in the yachts world. This yacht as a typical representative from Wally and features many advanced systems, technology gems and yacht building solutions that are not found on any other yacht in the world.
Company headquarters are in Monaco, summer capital of the rich world, and it is well known for its futuristic projects, including special custom designed MegaYachts and GigaYachts.

73 WallyPower features very special V-shape hull and is features hydrodynamic shape allowing for smooth and pleasurable navigation at high speeds with the addition of great stability on the waves without hard slamming and jumps. Furthermore 73 WallyPower uses one more patented technology, Chime Dampers, which reduces the noise from the battle of the boat with the waves and the work of the engines. It is indeed piece of art, offering something that is not available at other yacht manufacturers.

The hull is built from the fiberglass materials strengthened and reinforced with carbon fiber frame and the upper superstructure combines laminated glass with carbon fiber for best visibility and ultimate luxury look. Even more, there are special sensors in the superstructure that are following the weather parameters and automatically adjust the penetration of sunlight and heat inside. Joints between the parts of the superstructure are no visible and the finishing touch is excellent. Door Hinges are made with special care, and are looking out of this world. Centralized vacuum cleaning system makes sure there is not a single drop of dust anywhere and anytime.
73 Wally is one of the rare yachts this size that offers complete protection for adult and especially for the children from falling into the sea from the deck. Expensive, teak handrails are placed in deep secure bulwarks, and are pretty high so the safety of anyone on board is assured, even on big waves.
Along with ultimate luxury, innovative technology and first class materials, everything is leaned towards comfort, pleasure and usability. In case your financial situation is more than good, this is the boat for technology aware people, and will fulfill your every wish and demand.

The forward sunbathing pad is real place for relaxation, and you can configure it according to your wish; exotic dinner table with friends, coffee table for enjoying your favorite coffee in the morning at fresh sea air, or just pull the table and replace it with the soft cushions and feel the warmth of the sun on your face. Three different configurations are present on the photos below. The lightning at the deck and the mood they create at night are very special. It also offers greatest privacy when docked in the marine.
Or, you can park this beauty in the Monaco, for example, and follow the latest adrenaline filled F1 race from the aft sunbathing pad, together with your precious family. When you are done, on a touch of a button, the aft pad is lifted and the motorboat is ready to carry you to your favorite beach nearby. To help you with lifting it and positioning it in the water, special crane is available.

On the deck, the boat is divided between 3 main areas, aforementioned front cockpit and sunbathing pad, the rear cockpit and sunbathing pad and the gorgeous saloon between them, following the philosophy of open-air living space, promoted by the manufacturer. More than 20 people can have a lunch, dinner together or perform some small scale conference on the 73 WallyPower.
The salon is very large for the boat this size, and is very bright, filled with natural light. The dining table can serve up to ten people at the same time, and big LCD TV screen will entertain them. When not needed the it can be pulled back in the cabinet. As mentioned before, the superstructure which covers the saloon is made from fiberglass reinforced with carbon fiber, with special filtering capabilities, and capable Air-Conditioning System. The layout inside produces very relaxed, casual and informal experience. The saloon features teak soles, lacquered ceilings with a combination of other precious wood for the marble and suite base. The result is fresh, comfortable, contemporary feeling and atmosphere.
Boarding is very easy; it is done with the help of electrically operated boarding passerelle, with easily adjustable steps, also useful for intimate bathing pleasures. When not needed it is hidden in the transom.

The helm station incorporates all the navigation controls and provides excellent view to enhance safety while steering. There is a comfortable bed just in the front of the navigation station, and it can be used for enjoying the sunset and watching the distant ships…
Below the deck, the owner’s suite is at the front section, with two huge, queen-size beds. It features its private bath, on the front end of the ship. And then again, the shower room’s shape is blended with the hull; it has u-form and will bring much fun and pleasure for sure.
The double guest cabin is to port right off the stair descending from the salon, and doubles as a lounge area for guests’ day use. It can be used as an additional space for the guest, special visitors or cousins…Luxury at its best with two Large LCDs and beds that can be converted to comfortable sofas. There are big windows (portlights) on the side, so enough natural light comes in and lightens and enriches the living space.
73 WallyPower has big galley, which is equipped for all the demanding tasks of preparing exotic sea meals or national dishes for over 20 people. It features refrigerator with ice-maker and freezer, cantinetta, microwave oven, electrical stove and oven, coffee machine and trash compactor. Its design is further accented with the finishing polished steel touch. The galley is connected with the main saloon with a companionway that is expected to be used by the crew. There is even space for pantry and laundry room on the ship.

The 73 WallyPower is 73 feet (22.38m) long and has a displacement of 46 tons. The propulsion system is also fantastic, it consists of two MTU diesel engines with the power of over 3,000 Hp, driving KaMeWa water-jets, providing a speed over 40 knots. The cruising economic speed is 34 knots. This original yacht has been designed by Stefano Pastrovic.
